You'll learn how to generate ideas even when you have no inspiration, how to "hack" music theory, how to develop your vibe, as well as in-depth songwriting techniques that you can apply to any genre of electronic pop or club-focussed dance music. This is where your track starts to take shape, like the broad-strokes on a canvas.

Sound Design & Selection
Choosing and creating the sounds in your head.

You'll learn how to use synthesisers, samplers and to work with audio, but – far more importantly – you'll learn how to choose the best sounds that work together, tweak them to your exact needs, and even create your own sounds from scratch to bring what's in your head into your music.

Processing & Mixing
Crafting the perfect track.

This is where we go in-depth into all the different processing and effects plugins you might want to use. You'll learn how each of them alters the sound, the best settings to use and the best order in which to use them. You'll learn how to use compression, EQ, reverb, saturation and many other essential tools, and you'll also learn exactly when to use them.

Advanced Processing & Mixing
Bringing your music to life.

Following on from the previous module, this is where you learn the advanced "professor" techniques that will take your music to the next level. You'll learn how to add dynamics, movement, interest and life to your music, gelling everything together perfectly.

Vocal Secrets of the Pros
How to record, edit and process vocals to sound incredible.

Most Electronic Dance Music has some kind of vocal aspect to it; whether it be a full top-line, vocals chops, or a combination of several elements. In this module, you'll learn how to record, manipulate, polish and mix truly professional sounding vocals with very little equipment. You'll also learn how to find royalty-free vocals, and how to work with singers if you choose to.

Mastering Secrets
Get ready for Spotify, Apple, Beatport & the radio.

Mastering is the final part of the music production process, and is essential for getting that polished finish that you want for your music. You'll learn how to get a loud, clean, punchy and dynamic master ready for release into the world, that stands up against your favourite producers. You'll also learn how to get the best results for Apple Music, Beatport and Spotify.

Module 8:
Going Pro & Making Dough
How to quickly build a following, release your music and make money from it.

You'll learn how to build an audience from nothing, how the music industry actually works, and how to make money from your music (even with no followers).
