1. Recorded Lessons

How to remix a song

In each module there are an average of 4 hours of video lessons to watch – each building seamlessly upon the previous module. This is the meat of the program, and you'll learn the most cutting edge techniques in dance music production.

2. Weekly Feedback

Each week you submit homework based on that module's lessons, for your coaches to provide feedback and guidance on. This feedback guides you in the right direction, so. you can apply the changes to your music. 

3. Live Group Sessions

Twice a week, you have the option of jumping into our live group sessions to have any questions answered. Can't make the session? No problem: Submit your questions, we answer them, and you can watch the recording the next day.

4. One-on-One Coaching

We have 3 one-on-one sessions throughout the program – one at the beginning to get to know your goals and dreams, one half-way through where we dive into your project together, and one at the end to make any final tweaks.

It doesn't matter which DAW you use

The program is created primarily in Ableton Live 10, but the techniques are easily applied in any popular DAW, including Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Studio One, etc. Most of our students use Ableton, with Logic and FL Studio being the next most popular.

Launchpad to Success
Creativity, workflow and getting started the RIGHT way.

In this module we set you up for success – right off the bat. We give you the roadmap to your success, and the mindset needed to become a professional producer. We also show you the plugins worth investing in, how to choose your genre and develop your signature sound, and you'll also learn the ultimate workflow for regularly finishing high quality music.

Module 2:
Composition & Arrangement
Songwriting and chart-topping secrets.

You'll learn how to generate ideas even when you have no inspiration, how to "hack" music theory, how to develop your vibe, as well as in-depth songwriting techniques that you can apply to any genre of electronic pop or club-focussed dance music. This is where your track starts to take shape, like the broad-strokes on a canvas.

Sound Design & Selection
Choosing and creating the sounds in your head.

You'll learn how to use synthesisers, samplers and to work with audio, but – far more importantly – you'll learn how to choose the best sounds that work together, tweak them to your exact needs, and even create your own sounds from scratch to bring what's in your head into your music.

Processing & Mixing
Crafting the perfect track.

This is where we go in-depth into all the different processing and effects plugins you might want to use. You'll learn how each of them alters the sound, the best settings to use and the best order in which to use them. You'll learn how to use compression, EQ, reverb, saturation and many other essential tools, and you'll also learn exactly when to use them.

Advanced Processing & Mixing
Bringing your music to life.

Following on from the previous module, this is where you learn the advanced "professor" techniques that will take your music to the next level. You'll learn how to add dynamics, movement, interest and life to your music, gelling everything together perfectly.

How to record, edit and process vocals to sound incredible.

Most Electronic Dance Music has some kind of vocal aspect to it; whether it be a full top-line, vocals chops, or a combination of several elements. In this module, you'll learn how to record, manipulate, polish and mix truly professional sounding vocals with very little equipment. You'll also learn how to find royalty-free vocals, and how to work with singers if you choose to.

Mastering Secrets
Get ready for Spotify, Apple, Beatport & the radio.

Mastering is the final part of the music production process, and is essential for getting that polished finish that you want for your music. You'll learn how to get a loud, clean, punchy and dynamic master ready for release into the world, that stands up against your favourite producers. You'll also learn how to get the best results for Apple Music, Beatport and Spotify.

How to quickly build a following, release your music and make money from it.

Hi, I'm Will! I'm a music producer, mixing and mastering engineer, and have been producing Electronic Dance Music for 25 years.
